Number 29 features in treasure hunt for St. Patrick's festival Number 29, Georgian House Museum held a clue in this year’s Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Festival Denny Treasure Hunt. Despite the rain visitors came from far and wide to find this particular clue. More than 900 visitors found their way to the elegant hall of Number 29 where the answer lay in the stone bust of Benjamin Schrowder. The bust is a selfportrait by Schrowder, a Dublin sculptor who lived between 1757 and 1826 and who assisted Edward Smith who was well known for his cargings on the Custom House in Dublin. |
