Editors letter Hello and
Welcome This month's issue contains a Readership Survey insert that we hope you will take the time to complete. We strive to deliver a quality product to you and by taking part in the survey, you will be helping us assess what you like to read in EM or what items you may or may not wish to see included. You have the option to include your name and contact details if you wish to be included in the draw for a fabulous week's holiday for a family. Whether or not you wish to supply your name and contact information, each returned completed survey will net €2 for ElectricAid. This additional support to ESB's charity can go a long way in providing much needed help to the Third World. Details of how much this could deliver in the way of projects are included in a separate item in this issue. We do encourage you to take part, not only will you be helping a good cause, but your contribution will also provide us with valuable information which will enable us to make EM the best possible source of information and entertainment possible. March saw Work Life Balance and International Women's Day events that not only addressed those particular topics, but brought in sizeable sums of money donated by staff who attended various coffee mornings or talks to mark the days. It shows once more, how ESB staff, in large numbers, are always to the forefront when it comes to raising money for worthy causes. Watch out in this, and forthcoming issues of EM, for updates on that other big project: the rebuilding/refurbishment of Teshie Primary School in Ghana, to which ESB staff once more have responded in large numbers. Letters to the Editor Dear Editor, Considering the number of household customers that you have and the number of likely problems that could occur at any one time, we would have to say that we found such a rapid, helpful and pleasant service to be a welcome change to what would be normal in modern day living. For what it is worth, my family and I wish to express our thanks and congratulations to you on a fine and probably unappreciated service.
Regards and best wishes, |
