Countdown to Sligo Walk

Yes, we are on the countdown with only a number of weeks to go to the annual Slgio Walk which takes place on Saturday, May 10th – so get your walking shoes on and shake off the winter blues.

The walk starts at 8am from the Sligo Park Hotel. Registration of walkers will take place on Friday, May 9th from 6pm to 9pm at the same venue.

There are two distances – 30km and 50km – with a team event over 50km. This is the last year that the 50km will take place so remember it's your last opportunity to go those extra miles!

A fun weekend is always guaranteed and even the foot sore take to the floor for the Weary Walkers' Ball on the Saturday night.

Entry fee is €25 per person for both the 30km and 50km event. Entries can be downloaded from the Intranet site or by contacting Mary Gillen, ESB, Cranmore Road, Sligo (mary.gillen@esb.ie). Cheques should be made payable to the Sligo Walk Committee.
