E&D marks conclusion of 2009 Disability Traineeship Programme
The Chief Executive and three ESB Board Members attended a recent presentation lunch held to mark the conclusion of the 2009 Disability Traineeship Programme.
Twelve from a range of backgrounds and disabilities completed six-month paid placements in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Clare, Donegal and Dundalk. The programme offered them experience of a modern and flexible Company and helped them to expand their skills. All the participants expressed great appreciation for the tremendous support they received from ESB staff at all levels throughout the Company
The ESB Equality and Diversity Office has started the recruitment process for the 2010 Traineeship Programme, which will commence in June 2010.
Airvolution Energy intends to become a major player in this niche renewable sector in Britain. It will form strong partnerships with landlords, businesses and local communities as part of its operations and plans to become the UK’s leading developer and operator of small wind projects within a relatively short timeframe.
