ElectricAid promotes Fairtrade

ElectricAid's Fairtrade Exhibition in Head Office marked Fairtrade Fortnight, and proved a real winner with staff and visitors. The colourful display of posters, leaflets, DVDs, and most of all, product samples, went down very well with all concerned. Indeed, we had real difficulty in keeping the samples replenished, such was the enthusiasm for Fairtrade developing-world products such as dried fruit, sweets, handmade chocolates, decorative jewellery, biscuits, tea and coffee.

Joe Mescall and the Restaurant Team helped out and reminded us that their beverage trolley service runs entirely on excellent Fairtrade tea and coffee. Robert Roberts Ltd chipped in with free samples of their excellent Fairtrade brews, which were more than enthusiastically taken up. So why not look out for Fairtrade products, from T-shirts to tea, from bananas to earrings, all through the year? Use your buying power to help third-world producers get a fair deal - and enable them to work and trade their way out of poverty and degradation.
