UL receives ESB award
As part of its commitment to the EU's Year of Equality the ESB awarded a bursary to fund postgraduate research at the University of Limerick's Department of Sociology. The recipient of this year's award is Mary O'Reilly- Glynn. Mary is a UL graduate in English and New Media and has recently completed her MA in Women's Studies. Her research, for which she received the ESB bursary, examines the experiences of female employees at the ESB Call Centre in Cork. Mary's research focused on the interactions between these call service agents and the elderly.
