Tenderfeet group visits USA A group of approximately 85 ESB colleagues, from all over Ireland recently went on a US adventure with Travelco. Starting in Los Angeles they spent a few days there before travelling up the west coast through Monterey, Santa Barbara, San Simeon to San Francisco. A few more days spent in San Francisco taking in Alcatraz and all the sights. From there the days were spent inland visiting Bryce Canyon, Death Valley, The Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. Some saw the Grand Canyon from helicopters while others flew in small planes through the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley - a rather bumpy ride in windy conditions. On to Las Vegas where fortunes were won and lost but not necessarily by the Irish! Finally they spent three fabulous days in New York before returning home. |
