Class of '54 reunion
The ‘class of 54' were 54 electrical apprentices who commenced their apprenticeship in 1954 and completed their block release course at Kevin St. in 1958. To mark 50 years on from that date the group recently celebrated with a reunion in Killarney. A special Mass was celebrated at the Castlerosse Hotel for their departed classmates and the group were lucky enough to enjoy one of the best weeks, weather wise, that we saw over the summer.
The event included tours of Mucross House and Gardens, the Gap of Dunloe, Dingle and the Ring of Kerry while the group also enjoyed a round of golf at Beaufort Golf Club. The celebrations concluded with a gala evening at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club.
