A programme to train staff from CBOs to advise householders on energy efficiency in the home was launched at the event. Sponsored by ESB Customer Supply, the Community Based Energy Advice Training Programme is conducted by Energy Action at their Newmarket training Centre in Dublin 8 and aims to deliver energy efficiency information and advice to families in communities throughout the country. The training courses are attended by representatives of the CBOs actively involved in delivering the Warmer Homes Programme.
