If you've been following Des Bishop's blog - www.desbishopunplugged.ie - you'll know that Des is currently working with ESB Customer Supply to see what changes he can make to reduce his energy consumption - and bills. he's brought our own energy-efficiency guru, Jim Curran, into his home to offer advice and, so far, he has finally gotten to grips with his immersion, has switched all his lights to energy efficient versions and has even had a BER survey done, as well as lots more. this month, he'll be checking out how his Christmas tree looks when he switches to energy efficient LED lights
