HRM for Line Managers
Successful graduates of the HRM for Line Managers programme were presented with their certificates at a formal ceremony held in Head Office on Monday November 9th. The programme, which is customised to meet specific ESB HR needs, is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and programme graduates gain Associate Membership of the Institute on successful completion.
HR Executive Director Luke Shinnors, presented the certificates to the 17 successful participants. In his address, he praised the participants for completing the programme which involves attending workshops and submitting written assignments and a HR research project over an eight month period. He also specifically complimented the group on the quality of their finished project work. These projects are all based on HR issues and involve research into people management practices in ESB. Details on the various topics and their authors are posted on the Group HR website, which forms part of the increasing knowledge bank on HR that this programme is contributing to.
