Development Programme for Team Leaders in Billing and Payments

On Wednesday 25th October 2006, 23 Team Leaders from Billing and Payments were presented with certificates by the General Manager, Customer Supply, following the successful completion of an IMI Team Leader Development course.

This course, held off-site at a central location, was a 4 x 2 day modular programme, which ran from January to April of this year. This timeline was to allow Team Leaders to work on their assigned projects. The programme was divided as follows:

• Module 1 - Project and Resource Management
• Module 2 - Personal Development and Leadership
• Module 3 - Performance Management and Coaching
• Module 4 - Teamwork

Both IMI and ESB Management complimented the Team Leaders on the high quality and practicality of their projects and noted that most had already delivered significant benefits to both ESB Customer Supply and our customers. The course was designed by Ide Monahan HR, Customer Supply and Jimmy Flynn, Shared Services, and was delivered by Tom Davis, IMI.

At the presentation, Arthur Hutchinson, Billing and Payments Manager, complimented the course organisers and endorsed the positive feedback from Sean Wyse and Ollie Brogan. He made special mention of the commitment, enthusiasm and the level of customer and commercial awareness of the team leaders.
