ElectricAID Ireland - supporting community mental health

On behalf of ElectricAID Ireland, Pat Bradford of ESB Networks presented a cheque for €10,000 to Anne O'Shaughnessy of the Clann Family Resource Centre in Oughterard, Co. Galway. The Clann centre is an award-winning initiative, supporting and stabilising family life and working with many people identified as high-risk for suicide. This grant will support counselling and group-support interventions with vulnerable people in the Oughterard area.This is the second occasion ESB ElectricAID Ireland has funded the Clann centre. Last year it supported their highly successful "Creating Power Within" community mental health initiative.
