Job Title: Corporate Webmaster. I help to coordinate
development on ESBnet
(the ESB intranet) and the public
website, www.esb.ie.
What do you like most about
your job?
The opportunity to learn new
things. My four years with ESB have
been like going to university for a
second time.
If you weren't in your current
job what would you be doing?

Personal ambition?
To be able to fluently speak, read
and write at least three languages
If you had a choice of another
career what would it be?
am interested in many things, so it
is not an easy question. However, I
have always been fascinated by the
natural world. As such, I'd probably
go for geology. Did you know that
the only non-military person ever
to set foot on the moon was a
geologist!
What person has influenced you
most?
In terms of website development,
probably Gerry McGovern. Gerry is
an independent Irish consultant
and a world renowned 'guru' on
website content.
What upsets you most?
Litter. Unfortunately, it is endemic
in Irish society.
What is your favourite journey
and why
Any airline journey, because of the
expectation of arrival.
How do you chill out?
I read a lot.
Which four people, past or
present, would you invite to
dinner?
Dick Cheney, Mary Robinson, Paul
Wolfowitz and Robert Fisk. Sit back
and watch the food fly!
