ESB ElectricAID Ireland supports Waterford housing charity

On tuesday the 23rd Jan, ESB ElectricAID Ireland donated €15,000 to Tinteán Housing Association Ltd. Waterford.

Tinteán Housing provides transitional, second stage and long term housing to single homeless women and short-term emergency accommodation to homeless families.

ESB ElectricAID Ireland was set up in 2005 by ESB to provide support for charities in Ireland. ESB staff decided that ElectricAID Ireland should concentrate its support on two areas - Suicide Prevention and Homelessness.

The €15,000 donation to Tinteán will go towards their refurbishment programme and the purchase of long term accommodation. Tinteán embarked on a refurbishment programme in 2005 with the aim of improving the overall standard of their housing accommodation. They are delighted with the ElectricAID Ireland donation as it will help them in the completion of their programme.
