ESB Customer Supply sponsors ICA Scholarship

ESB Customer Supply recently sponsored a threeday ICA (Irish Countrywomen's Association) adult education scholarship in An Grianán, Co. Louth

The sponsorship course was attended by members of the ICA from ICA Guilds in all 26 counties. As part of the scholarship course delegates received a presentation on Energy Efficiency in the home allowing delegates in turn to bring what they have learned back to Guild members throughout the country.

This project's association with ICA dates back 30 years to 1976. The sponsorship is a useful vehicle for ESB Customer Supply to demonstrate its strong support for community representative groups.

This sponsorship programme regularly receives country-wide publicity in National and Regional press. The publicity demonstrates to a much wider audience that ESB Customer Supply is an engaged and socially responsible organisation, playing an active role within the community.

Speaking at the launch of the scholarship programme, Carmel Dawson, ICA National President said, "ICA is very grateful for this sponsorship and for all the support received over many years from ESB Customer Supply".
