Making ESB and UCD history Congratulations to Oliver P. Dunne who recently graduated from University College Dublin with honours Masters Degree in Archives and Records Management. Oliver becomes the first employee in the history of ESB to have received such an award, and also one of ten students to receive this degree for the first time at UCD. As part of his studies he also attended Warwick University, Birmingham where he worked with Mr Peter Housego, Global Archives Manager with BP International Ltd. In 2003 Oliver received an honours B.A. in History and Community Development from the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. Oliver would like to thank the senior management and staff of ESB for their support during his studies over many years. He also wishes to thank the staff and management of NUI Maynooth, University College Dublin, Offaly Historical and Archeological Society and above all his wife Rose and daughters Gene and Aimee. |

Aimeé a student of Dublin Institute of Technology graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Civil Engineering (Civil Option). She is presently continuing with her studies in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Aimeé was a former student of the Sacred Heart School, Tullamore. |
