Sligo Sports and Social Club in the Big Apple

Esb sligo sports and Social Club Sligo recently celebrated their 10th annual ‘week-end’ away with a memorable trip to New York. This six day trip took place at the start of November in time for some Christmas shopping. The visit took in the popular sites such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and Ground Zero to mention but a few. No trip to the Big Apple would be complete without a visit to Macy’s Department store and the famous ‘Woodberry Common’ shopping outlet. These annual week-end away trips have proved very popular with the social club members who so far have visited a number of major capital cities in Europe.
