		Retirement Charlie Carr retirement Charlie Carr, STSS, North West Division, ESB Networks based in Cranmore in Sligo retired in December and a presentation was made at an ESB Networks STSS Group function in the Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone on 27th November. Many tributes were paid to Charlie and we wish him many happy years of retirement. Jim O Sullivan retirement Jim O’Sullivan, Technical Supervisor, Clifden, on the occasion of his retirement. Jim is a very keen follower of GAA and especially Kerry football. He moved from Tralee to Clifden as Customer Services Supervisor and also had responsibility for the electricity supply and maintenance of generators on the islands off the West coast. Jim had a very close relationship with the Islands’ plant operators ensuring that the lights stayed on in all weather conditions. In 2003 he was appointed to the position of Technical Services Supervisor. Jim is one of life’s gentlemen and was always available to share his knowledge and technical skills. We wish him well in his retirement.
