Lanesboro Retired Staff Association

Following a very successful bowling night in Longford in November, organised by JJ Fallon, and a wonderful meal afterwards in the Aubergine restaurant, there were great nights out in December for the Lanesboro' Retired group at the Conal Gallen Show in Roscommon and at the annual Christmas party held in the Clarion Hotel in Sligo.

New Year activities start with Tuesday evening classes on digital camera photography and Thursday evening yoga classes. If you are interested in joining either of these classes, you can contact any of the committee members to confirm your place.

On Friday February 20th at 8pm, the active retirement group is holding a table quiz, venue to be confirmed. Proceeds will go to charity. Last year's charity was St. Christopher's School in Longford town. The organising committee of Tommy Dolan, Noel O'Donnell and Brendan Dowling will decide on the charity to be selected this year. Other social evenings will be arranged at a later date.
