Speaking at the launch, ESB's HR Director, Luke Shinnors said; "As part of the overall development strategy for ESB staff I have launched a revised mentoring policy and procedure for immediate implementation. I see mentoring playing a key role in building self reliance and accelerated learning in a real time and safe environment. It is primarily targeted at new entrants to the organisation; it reflects a craftsmanapprentice type relationship. It will be managed locally by the Coaching and Mentoring coordinator."
