ICAD award for ESB Customer Supply Energy Awareness Week Bus Stop

McConnell's Advertising recently won a silver award at the ICAD awards (Irish Creative and Design awards) for the bus shelter used as part of the Energy Awareness Week promotional activity. McConnell's devised an electric switch, which was attached to the lighting on a bus stop and encouraged people to switch off lights to save energy. The switch was on a timer and came back on automatically after 30 seconds.

ICAD is the premier creative awards scheme for print and broadcast advertising. The award was won in the 'transport' category - this is for posters on buses, DART Cards, Luas columns, bus stops etc. Other advertisers in the transport category included Coke and Guinness. There was no Gold awarded in the category this year.
