BT Young Scientist sees 11% increase in projects submissions - Volunteers needed for information and interactive engineering stand

The BT young scientist & Technology Exhibition will take place in the RDS from 9th - 12th January 2008. This year, over 1,400 projects were submitted for the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition - breaking last year's record by 138!

The aim of the BT Young Scientist is to attract young people to science by making it fun, exciting and accessible, not just for the participating and visiting students, but for the general public as well.

STEPS to engineering will have a stand at the event and will require volunteer engineers to help answer questions about engineering and to run interactive workshops. If you are interested in helping out at this year's event, contact STEPS to engineering: info@steps.ie, or on 01-6140010.
