‘Real’ trees planted by ESB Telecoms Ltd As leaders of the design and installation of artificial trees posing as towers for mobile phone operators it was a delight to plant some real ones for a change! The beneficiaries of this initiative were the residents of Ballyboden in Dublin. In consultation with the local residents (Brenda Doyle in particular) and Scoil Mhuire, Ballyboden National School, Alder trees were donated by ESB Telecoms Ltd and planted by a skilled landscaper with a little help from Feargal O’Buachain (ESBT). The planting took place in front of the 38kV substation and on the grounds of the National school. The initiative compliments the Sustainability agenda embarked upon by ESB and was the perfect opportunity for ESB Telecoms Ltd. to play its part. In expressing her appreciation for ESB Telecoms Ltd’s efforts, Brenda Doyle was particularly pleased that the local area has been considerably enhanced by the addition of the trees. |
