Occupation: Programme Manager, Network Renewal Programme

What is your typical week?
Weeks don't follow a standard routine, though over a month or quarter there is a certain pattern. Meetings with colleagues and contractors, or sessions for planning, analysis and review take me from Dublin to Portlaoise, Athlone, Tralee, Westport, etc. One week is all travel, while the next might be office-bound.

If you could change something in your week what would it be?
Add more Fridays. And believe it or not, I get a lot of support for this one!

How do you chill out?
I love to play music and read. I'm an active member of my local theatre group and take part in regular productions, both on stage and off. ESB MADSOC has given me similar opportunities to humiliate myself in public. I love the fortnightly meetings of Toastmasters in ESB, and would recommend it to anyone who wants to practice communication and public speaking. I also play golf and love to walk.

If you had the opportunity to pursue another career, what would you like to do?
As any teenager will tell you, it's hard enough to pick one career, never mind a second. However, if I had the opportunity at another career I might be a singer.

What is your biggest personal ambition?
To record a music album and release it on an unsuspecting public!
