ESB Board announces two senior appointments

The Board of ESB on Thursday, December 14th, appointed Bríd Horan as Executive Director for Customer Supply & Group Services and appointed Aidan O'Regan as Deputy Chief Executive. Bríd Horan joined ESB in 1997 and has worked as Group Pensions Manager. She previously headed KPMG's Pension & Actuarial Consulting business in Ireland. Bríd has been a board member of the IDA since 1996 and a Commissioner of the National Pensions Reserve Fund since it was established in 2001.

Mr O'Regan's appointment is to fill the vacancy created by Tony Donnelly who retired in September. Aidan O'Regan joined ESB in 1965. He was appointed Head of Regulatory Affairs in January 1997. He has previously held senior management positions in the human resources, financial and project management areas and has managed international consultancy assignments. He retains responsibility for Regulatory Affairs in conjunction with his role as Deputy Chief Executive.
