ESB survey on seat belt usage

Following a similar initiative in ESB's Waterford offices, HO Security Services carried out a two day survey of all vehicles entering HO to determine seat belt usage. Of all the vehicles that entered Head Office over the two days, 88 per cent of people were wearing seat belts and the 12 per cent who weren't were not ESB staff but rather couriers and people making deliveries to the complex.

From an ESB perspective, it is pleasing to see that staff were fully compliant and management would like to take this opportunity to stress how important it is that all staff and their families should wear seat belts at all times no matter how short the journey.
