Launch of ESB Coaching website

ESB continues to face rapid change by virtue of the dynamics of the industry in which it operates. Equally, organisation-wide change will continue to arise from the challenges associated with the achievement of the Strategic Framework to 2020, which will see unprecedented levels of investment (€22 billion) and include the development of the organisation's renewable energy, networks, generation and international operations.

Achieving this change will require us to continue to develop management talent and to continue on our journey towards a high performance culture. The development of a coaching culture throughout the organisation will therefore be an important part of realising these objectives.

Coaching is carried out on an individual and confidential basis. It provides a secure base for the participant to discuss their goals, increase self awareness, challenge their beliefs, and drive change in a challenging and supportive environment.

The Coaching Website, launched on the Tuesday, June 17th provides comprehensive information on the coaching process, lists the relevant contacts and also gives access to external information on coaching developments. Launching the new website HR Director Luke Shinnors said, "The new website will become a key information resource for participants and potential participants in the coaching process".

Once you visit the site, please contact Senior Executive Coach Paddy Stapleton with any comments or observations. These will be used to inform the further development of the site in the months to come.
