Final trip of the Catenary Tug

Final trip of the Catenary Tug during re-conductoring of Gt. Island - Waterford 110kV Lines to 430's ACSR. Personnel on the tower are S.A.G. contractors who use this method extensively in Germany when safety is of paramount importance e.g. over autobahns. It was used crossing the Suir River in Waterford becauce the span crossed a dual carriageway, several tracks of rail, the river itself and several buildings.
