Pooling our resources Tucked away behind the green door of 39 Merrion Square, 28 individuals from 12 different countries are all conversing one common language 'Pool Market Operations'. This is the first year of the new 'Excellence in Health and Safety Awards' within ESB Power Generation and it replaces the earlier annual Safety Awards. The new Awards, which use a new and very comprehensive methodology to rank entrants, underline Power Generation's commitment to safety across the business. Speaking at the announcement of the winners, Executive Director, Pat O'Doherty, congratulated the winners and all the participants in the competition.
