Great Island win All Ireland Safety Quiz

Congratulations to the Great Island Safety Quiz Team who recently won the All Ireland Safety and General Knowledge Quiz 2007 in Tullamore.

This is the 34th year of this competition which involves teams from all the NISO Regions in the Republic and NISG in Northern Ireland. Great Island last won the trophy in 1995 and is the only ESB team to win this competition.

This success comes only after several months of hard study and practice by the individual team members.

Congratulations to the team on this fantastic achievement. The team was John O’Shea, Feargal Weatherhead and Pat McGovern and managed by Larry Shannon.
