ESB Customer Supply at The Energy Show

This year's energy Show was the venue for the official launch of their nationwide promotion of 'A' rated air conditioning. The show is presented by Sustainable Energy Ireland and this year it was officially opened by Mr Noel Dempsey TD, Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources. In his opening remarks the Minister said: “The fact that business in Ireland is already making significant progress in energy efficiency is encouraging to all sectors of the community”.

The theme of the ESB Customer Supply stand was in keeping with the Minister's sentiments. ESB Customer Supply demonstrated a range of products and services designed to help their customers become more energy efficient and implement some energy management initiatives in their business.

The show marked the official launch of their nationwide promotion of 'A' rated air conditioning. This campaign is being run in conjunction with seven of the leading air conditioning suppliers in Ireland. Three PC monitors were used with a 'live link' allowing demonstrations of their enhanced On-line services including EnergyExtra, Gem-on-Line and the Hotel Lighting Guide.

The use of trade allies also featured with energy efficient lighting displays on the latest warehouse lighting products from ACEC. ESB Customer Supply promoted their current nationwide Commercial Lighting Campaign in conjunction with Osram Lighting and Building Energy Management Systems supported by Standard Control Systems personnel.

Business customers visiting ESB Customer Supply's stand commended their continuing commitment to encouraging greater efficiency in the use of electrical energy.
