Hello and Welcome
to the June issue of EM.

This is the first bimonthly edition of EM and I would like to thank you all for your kind comments in phone calls and emails. I would like to assure you all, and in particular our retired colleagues, that we will continue to keep you up to date on matters of interest. This will of course be supported by the internet and other means of communication, many of which we hope will bring you even faster methods of receiving information. Please continue to send us your contributions and submissions for staff photography which is hugely popular. We are planning to make all submissions for staff photography available in a separate section of the EM website so that an even wider audience can appreciate some of the amazing photographs sent to us. I will advise you of these developments when they become available.

The bimonthly issues of EM will issue in the first week of each edition i.e. August/Sept. will issue in the first week of August; Oct./Nov. will issue in the first week of October etc. so please keep this in mind when submitting items. Contributions should reach us by the middle of the previous month i.e. the deadline for August/Sept. copy is July 15th. Hopefully, by the time our next issue is published, most of you will be enjoying your summer holiday so here’s wishing you all good weather and a wonderful break.
