ElectricAid Ireland cheque presentations

ESB Chairman, Lochlann Quinn and Worker Director, Tony Merriman presented ElectricAid Ireland cheques to Dublin Simon Community and the Primary Health Care Safety Net for Homeless Persons. The money is being used by both agencies to extend primary healthcare services to the homeless around Dublin.

The Simon Community will use the ElectricAid support to extend healthcare facilities to a second shelter in the city, a successful pilot project is already operating in the Harcourt Street shelter and Simon will now extend the service to the Usshers Island Accommodation. The Primary Health Care safety Net is using the support to buy computer and scanning equipment to centralise medical records for the homeless around Dublin, helping reduce long term health problems.
