Padraig Dooley Conferral

Padraig dooley has recently been awarded his Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons.) from Dublin Institute of Technology.

Padraig was awarded a Scholarship from ESB in 2003 and then pursued his studies at DIT Bolton St., where he completed his course as a mature student. Having initially worked in Poolbeg Thermal Station as a Mechanical Fitter and later as Maintenance Team Leader in Poolbeg CCGT, he wishes to thank both management and staff for their support in receiving such a great opportunity.

During what was a very challenging, difficult, but yet very worthwhile experience, he received overwhelming support from his mentor and work colleagues alike. Many thanks to all.

On completion of his studies he was appointed to a position in Turlough Hill Pumped Storage Station and has recently been appointed Station Asset Manager.
