Audrey Hamilton retires

On thursday, February 7th colleagues and family gathered in ESBI head office on Stephen's Green to wish Audrey Hamilton, Strategic HR Manager ESBI, bon voyage. After 37 years of total commitment to ESB and ESBI, Audrey availed of voluntary severance in order to spend some well-deserved time between her own 'Lovely Leitrim' and the beaches of sunny Spain. George Martin, ESBI HR Manager described Audrey as, "a pillar of strength that has greatly contributed to the success of ESBI since its formation in 1989".

As HR Manager for ESBI Engineering and Facility Management, Audrey built and managed a superb team and set high standards of professionalism, integrity and consistency that have lasted to this day. Audrey also gave her time and talents to Pensions in ESB and in ESBI. "You would have to travel very far to meet a person as kind, compassionate and generous as Audrey. These are the qualities that we will miss when she leaves," commented George.

When asked how the night went, Audrey said, "It was a very special occasion for me and my family. One that we will cherish for many years to come. I have fond memories of my time in ESB and ESBI – both companies are great places to work and it is down to the very special people who work in them. I do hope our paths will cross again in the future."
