ESB sponsors Irish Team for Olympics

Padraig McManus, ESB Chief Executive with the Irish women's hockey team when he announced further support for the senior squad in their bid to qualify for the Olympic Games in Beijing next August. He made the announcement at a reception in the Stillorgan Park Hotel.

The team coach, Gene Muller said the ESB support was invaluable. "Without it, we would not be able to optimise our preparations for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Canada in April, he said."
