ESB Customer Supply links up with Wexford Area Partnership launch of Warm Project

Minister of State, at the Department of Communications Marine and Natural Resources John Browne T.D. recently launched the Wexford Area Partnership Warm Project. The launch took place at the Warm Project Office, Wexford, on Friday 10th February.

The Warm Project aims to improve the energy efficiency and comfort conditions of homes occupied by low-income households. ESB Customer Supply is continuing its links with local communities and its commitment to energy efficiency, as well as elevating fuel poverty by supporting Wexford Area Partnerships Warm Project.

Wexford Area Partnership is one of a number of Agencies working in their local communities throughout the country to which ESB Customer Supply provides energy efficient CFL bulbs and lagging jackets. The agencies deliver and install the energy efficient products in their local communities as part of the Warm Project.

The installation of these products will benefit the households where they are installed, by helping them to reduce their electricity bill. They will benefit from the effective and efficient use of electricity in their homes by using the appropriate energy saving bulbs and lagging their hot water cylinders.

Use of products like this can help a customer save up to €170 over the lifetime of the CFL bulb, which uses 80% less electricity and lasts up to 15 times longer than a normal light bulb. A lagging jacket quickly pays for itself and keeps on saving money. Save up to 30% on your water heating costs by fitting a lagging jacket.
