ESB bright sparks!

On saturday 24th March, up to 35 staff donned their leathers and took to the road in what could only be described as perfect biking conditions, to congregate at Comfort Inn Portlaoise, for the very first AGM of ESB Bright Sparks Motorcycle Club.

The club was the brainchild of Walter Bourgoin (ESBI). He was inspired by the Bike Safe training sessions he attended in 2006 facilitated by ESB Safe Driving Bureau in conjunction with An Garda Síochána.

Presenting at the AGM were representatives from the Road Safety Authority, Fingal County Council Star Rider and Bike-2- Bike Rider Training. Club business was also discussed on the day with Walter himself being elected Chairman, Thomas Gallery (ESBI) and Stuart Scott (ESBI) being elected Treasurer and Secretary.
