International Women's Day at ESBI benefits three charities

As published last month, ESBI celebrated International's Women's Day by hosting a coffee morning - with chocolates and roses!

Not only were the ladies made to feel special on the day but it also raised money for three worthwhile charities - Trocaire, Aoibhneas, a refuge for victims of domestic violence and Ruhama, an Irish charity working with the victims of the sex trade and trafficking of women.

Michael McNicholas, Executive Director ESBI, launching the coffee morning agreed that ESBI would match any money raised on the day - this resulted in a combined total of €1,800 giving each charity a donation of €600.

Many thanks to everyone who helped make this day such a success and for contributing so generously to the collection for the charities. We're already looking forward to a bigger and better event next year!
