ElectricAID Ireland assisting Kilkenny and Dublin charities Earlier this year ElectricAID Ireland presented two cheques to Charities in Kilkenny. €25,000 was presented to South East Simon, Kilkenny and €15,000 to Amber, Kilkenny Women's Refuge project. The money to Simon went towards their resettlement project. They are seeking to provide additional support for 94 men and 50 women in the Kilkenny/ Waterford area. The group was delighted with the contribution and quite confident that they could now fulfil their plans for the year. The money for the Amber project on the other hand went towards the care plans and support for the women and children who reside in the hostel. Aiden O'Regan, Deputy Chief Executive, presented both cheques in Kilkenny and commented on how impressed he was with the work of both Charities and on the positive impact it was would have on the Kilkenny community.
