		Laser card - A new way to pay your electricity bill ESB CUSTOMER SUPPLY ESB Customer Supply has introduced a new 24-hour bill payment service. Customers can now phone 1850 372 372, day or night, to pay their bills by Laser Card using a new touchtone automated service. Brid Horan, Executive Director ESB Customer Supply and Group Services, attended a presentation and official launch at ESB Customer Supply headquarters in Clanwilliam House on October 11th. Aidan Byrne, Payments Manager, ESB Customer Supply, highlighted the fact that almost 2 million people in Ireland now use Laser Cards and more than 100 million transactions will be processed through Laser in 2007. He has high hopes for the new service as it represents a very efficient payment channel for ESB Customer Supply and is a very convenient option for our customers. Aidan also expressed thanks to Aileen O'Connor who managed the interactive voice response (IVR) interfaces for the National Customer Contact Centre. At the official launch, Maria Byrne, who managed the project for Billing & Payments, gave a live demonstration of the new bill payment service. Maria explained how the new facility is very customer friendly and offers a safe, secure, simple and speedy way to pay bills. To use the new 24-hour automated payment service, customers only need to phone 1850 372 372 and have their ESB Account Number and Laser Card to hand Why not try it?
