Energy Chiefs visit Marchwood
As part of its new expansion strategy in the UK, ESB entered a joint venture with Scottish and Southern Energy to build the new 840 megawatt combined cycle gas facility which will supply the electricity needs of up to one million homes. The project further builds on ESB's overseas investment portfolio and is scheduled to be commissioned in 2009.
