Fundraising at NCCC
Funds totalling €4436 raised by NCCC Staff who took part in this year's Sligo Walk and Cork Ladies Mini Marathon were presented to Marymount Hospice and Cork ARC Cancer Support House in the NCCC on Friday 6th October, to mark start of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
NCCC Dublin also fundraise and one of the charities is the Laura Lynn Childrens' Hospice Fund - which has been the staff nominated charity since 2004. The target for 2006 is €5,000 - with over €2,500 raised to date and this is expected to increase.
The "Weary Walkers" sincerely thank all their colleagues, friends and family continuing to support their fund raising efforts.
