Plant Managers conference

The annual ESBI Engineering & Facility Management (FM) Plant Managers' Conference took place in Dublin from October 4th to 6th last. Managers from locations as far away as Pakistan and Malaysia and as near as Dublin, Northern Ireland, England and Spain attended. The conference gives everyone involved a chance to renew acquaintances, discuss ideas and meet new members of the FM team. Managers also learn about the experiences and challenges of other plants in the FM portfolio.

In addition presentations were made by a number of people from outside the FM team. This year a few new faces were introduced to the team: Jim McLaughlin , Plant Manager at Uch in Pakistan, Geoff Darlow who joined the team as FM Chemist during the year, Tom Scott, Maintenance Manager, Manjung who deputised for the Plant Manager, Peter Kane, and Vincent Flynn, General Manager of the Facility Management.
