Customer Service Week at ESB Independent Energy
ESBIE marked Customer
Service Week in October through
a number of events which were
held to raise awareness of
customer service amongst all
staff. The events ran throughout
the week and included:
- a staff quiz which focussed on
customer service
- a 'compliment your neighbour'
event where team members
noted where colleagues
provided excellent customer
service during the course of
the week. The feedback was
then compiled and issued to all
staff as examples of the
excellent level of customer
service provided by ESBIE
- Managers looked after the
ESBIE reception during the
week to get first-hand
experience of dealing with
customer issues
The operations team issued
letters to their customers
informing them about the
week and seeking feedback on
areas where ESBIE could
improve the service being
delivered to customers
All in all National customer
service week was a great success
and every one had a smile on their
face throughout the week. We
hope to repeat this year's success
next year; we already have our
thinking caps on.
