Lanesboro’ Retired Staff Association news

On Tuesday, October 21st of October the Association is hosting a bowling night for members in Longford Mega Bowl at 6pm. This will be followed by a meal in the Aubergine Restaurant, Longford at 8pm. Contact J J Fallon or Brendan Whitty to reserve your place.

The Christmas Dinner will take place this year in the Clarion Hotel, Sligo on Sunday 7th of December. The overall package includes Christmas Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. Contact Michael Carroll, Johnny Horohoe or Denis Dunne.

This year’s Retired Staff Outing was to Guinness’s St. James Gate and afterwards to the Curragh Racecourse for the Budweiser Irish Derby weekend and Dinner in the Horseshoe Restaurant. A measure of the popularity of this trip was that the 54 seater bus was totally booked out weeks in advance.
