Editors letter Hello and
Welcome ElectricAid is once again ramping up to encourage more staff to take part and join the momentum to send much precious funds to places where the need is the greatest. Like all charitable organisations, ElectricAid is finding that requests are increasing and the monies, unfortunately, are not growing at the same pace as the demand. We appreciate there are a lot of calls on everyone to spread their income further and further but even the smallest amount, whether in a once off payment or an increased contribution, will go a long way in areas where there is a great need. So keep ElectricAid in mind as you come across the charity's Octoberfest in your location. Summer has hardly passed and Halloween is on our doorstep. This issue brings you lots of lovely treats in our Food section which will keep you busy. It means you can also engage the younger members of the family to help out. I'm sure they will have great fun making some of the 'interesting' recipes that are featured. Forget the mess that 'little fingers' will make and just enjoy having them mess up your kitchen with seasonal treats. All too soon they won't want to get their fingers sticky or their hair covered in flour! Look out for more seasonal treats in our next edition in preparation for the Christmas season. |
