Hello and Welcome to the 'revamped' EM

Our new look and style will, we hope, make EM an even more interesting read and will include many new features which should be of interest to our various readers.

When redesigning EM and deciding on our editorial going forward for the Features and Life section we took on board the many suggestions and feedback which we receive from you, our readers. That said, we do not intend to sit back on our laurels, but plan to carry out regular surveys to random groups to ensure that we are delivering what you expect from our publication.

On the News side we hope you will appreciate that the new format will have more emphasis on quality and that in order to ensure our news is snappier and to the point, with a greater business focus, our articles will be shorter and carry one to two photographs of a high quality per item. This will ensure that the stories from your business unit are of a higher standard and will attract more readers - less is more so to speak.

On the Features and Life section we hope to encourage a more two-way feel to the paper where you, our staff and families, can participate and so we invite questions in relation to health, motoring, finance, cookery etc. We would encourage those of you keen gardeners and cooks to send us in your favourite tips or recipes for publication.

We have lots of ideas on the back burner to bring you interesting items with more prizes and competitions but as always we will welcome your feedback.

We hope the facility to enter competitions by methods other than postage will be welcome but for those of you who still wish to send in your replies by post you are most welcome to continue to do so.

Our new revamped website to compliment the new look paper will be ready shortly and we thank you for your patience.
