End of the cable for Sean O'Carroll

After an ESB career spanning 40 years preceded by 10 years service in the Irish Defence Forces, Sean O'Carroll, NPET HV cable jointer extraordinaire, retired on 25th September 2007.

Sean is well known and highly regarded through out ESB Networks for his in-depth knowledge of HV cable technology and jointing skills. He worked in Bahrain for several years and his name is associated with many flagship cable projects over the decades, including the Shannon Crossing, Moneypoint and North Wall.

A large group of his colleagues and friends recently gathered to wish Sean well as he embarked on a new chapter in his career.
